Video Plug: Monome for Music and Tetris
So I spent a couple of hours watching monome videos months and months ago, but today decided to post something about them. There’s lots of reviews, comments, discussion of the device and its merits already out there on the intertubes, so I won’t add to the noise. But I can’t help being excited about music in general when I see stuff like this:
Of course there’s lots of other things to do with the monome. Beats, loops, synthesis, all sorts of audio based controls are opened up – but probably the cutest used I’ve seen to date is Tetris:
