When I logged onto Facebook today and saw that Deadmau5 had posted a TON of photos from recent events (tour, Ultra, etc) I of course had to take a look at them, and I found a few interesting pictures (aside from the one above).

Not very often you see that many JBL Vertec speakers (background) and a bunch of stagehands/techs setting up mixers and laptops. Its always cool to see the behind-the-scenes people in action.

#2. Deadmau5′ complete live setup

The Mau5 himself has never been secrative about his gear (aside from refusing to reveal a lot of the FXpansion synths he uses in the studio), but never has there been such a clear shot of what he uses live and in the studio. Not sure what’s on the table? Let me help you.

He’s got some gear, that’s no lie. I wonder how he uses the Maschine in a live setting?

Missing from the picture above but seen in previous Mau5 setups is a Monome 256. Maybe the Maschine is replacing it? I’d find that hard to believe…
