Musikmesse 09: Stanton SCS.3m

scs3m_prod_mainStanton has already unleashed the SCS.3d, so it makes sense to release something that can act as a mixer of sorts inbetween two 3ds, which is pretty much what the 3m is.

The SCS series are touch-sensative MIDI controllers aimed at DJs and designed to work with software like Native Instrument Traktor and Ableton Live.

Stanton would like you to setup two 3ds (one on each side as if they were your CDJs) and have the 3m in the middle (acting as a two-channel DJ mixer). It’s pretty important to note that you can use the 3m or 3d in a standalone setting or link several of either together for some pretty crazy control schemes.

The SCS.3d is available now while the SCS.3m will be out May 2009 for about $249. Now the only question is: should you buy it?
