Just got an email from McDSP and they’ve been sure to inform me that, for a limited time only, Retro Recorder will be on sale in the App Store for $1.99. If you’re not sure of what Retro Recorder has to offer, check out my previous post here.

McDSP are also announcing a contest based around the Retro Recorder that will end August 31. If you have some cool audio recorded with RR’s ALX technology, send it to McDSP. If they use it, you’ll recieve a $25 iTunes gift card. If you write a review of RR for your website, blog, or whatever, they’ll up the reward to $50 in the iTunes store. If you want to enter, here’s the criteria:

• Entries must include both original and ALX processed audio
• Audio files should not be more than 60 seconds
• Entrants must have all copyright and other legal rights to submitted recording, and/or have permission to use said recording as an entry in the Retro Recorder Clip Contest.

If you’d like to enter your clip, go download Retro Recorder and then submit the audio to them by emailing McDSP.
