First International Kyma Symposium in Barcelona 8-10 October 2009
Sound designers & Musicians Converge on Barcelona for Intensive Immersion in Kyma Sound Design Environment
Champaign IL-September, 2009-Sound designers and electronic musicians are invited to join in the First International Kyma Symposium from 8-10 October 2009 in the vibrant Poble Nou neighborhood of Barcelona. Anyone interested in seeing the new Pacarana and learning more about the Kyma sound design environment is invited to attend master classes presented by the creators of Kyma and workshops presented by Kyma experts from France, Germany, Austria, Mexico and Spain. Rounding out the program are concerts of live electronic music, DJ Pacarana, the presentation of a silent film with a live-improvised score, and dancing to Cristian Vogel’s Never Engine at the Moog (http://www.masimas.com/moog/) on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
