Korg SV-1 Vintage Stage Piano Gives You Warm Fuzzies

Korg’s new keyboard – the SV-1 Vintage Stage Piano looks and sounds great to me – but I’m not really a keyboard player.  I have to admit though, the control layout (all knobs and buttons and NO screen) and patch saving functions (radio preset style buttons) really appeals to me.  Although it seems kind of gimmicky to me when manufacturers place tubes in your face – I’m sure it adds a little extra to the sound, which, considering how diverse synthesis and sampling is, can make a big difference.

There’s a lot more to the SV-1 than what you’ll see in this video, but it’s got a good bunch of sound samples.
