The A840 is AEA’s newest ribbon microphone. It’s supposed to be extremely versatile and can be used on for both digital, analog, and hybrid recording. The A840, like some other mics from AEA’s line, contain the “Big Ribbon” technology. Other features of the A840:

No price was listed with the info I was sent. Needless to say, the mic will cost you a few grand but I’m going to bet that it’ll be well worth your money.
