Propellerhead announced today that you’ll be able to grab a ReFill pack containing classic soul sounds from Detroit, Memphis, and Cincinnati for use within your Reason and Record setups.

The collection contains bass, drums, guitars, and horns. They’re available in Propellerhead’s REX format so you can use it with Reason’s NN-XT sampler (among other things).

All samples were recorded on “vintage equipment” with real funk/soul session players – no overdubs of any sorts. It doesn’t say in the press release, but I’m assuming they recorded all these samples thru an analog desk onto tape for that “vintage” soul feel.
