Winter NAMM 2010: New Numark Gear
Numark is hitting the ground running in the new year with a ton of new gear being rolled out at this Winter’s NAMM in Los Angeles.
The above video is of Numark’s V7 which is essentially an NS7 exploded into seperate decks. The upside to this clearly is the fact that you can use your own DJ mixer and any Serato/Traktor box you might have. So if you like the feel of the NS7 but don’t want to throw down the cash for the whole unit, this may be your best bet. http://www.numark.com/v7
The above video shows off Numark’s X7 mixer. The PR guy does little but show you the mixer, but according to what Numark is saying, this thing should be pretty huge when it comes out.
Clearly going after Allen & Heath’s Xone:3D/4D market, the X7 is a four channel, digital club-style mixer. Numark pitches it with the NS7, and why not? Motorized turntables to control your virtual DJ software and MIDI and audio capabilities with the mixer make it a pretty ideal setup. The mixer also features a proprietary communication system that allows you to link multiple X7/V7 units (to share control data and audio) as well as MIDI and USB connectevity for the laptop crowd.
Two USB ports on the X7 make for some possibly interesting dual-laptop DJ sets. Add in the 24-bit audio circuitry and you’ve got yourself a pretty fine club mixer. http://www.numark.com/x7
The next item on Numark’s agenda is their new multimedia player, the NDX800. With onboard effects, looping, and USB connectivity, it seems like a good alternative to the CDJ400. The video above shows the NDX800 being used with Traktor, but you can also pull mp3s straight from a USB drive and play just from that. http://www.numark.com/ndx800
Numark is also showcasing a ton more DJ-specific tech.
- The NS7FX (which I wrote about a while back), which adds FX to your Serato Itch setup. http://www.numark.com/ns7fx
- Mixdeck which switches out the turntable-style platters for the sake of CD players. It sounds like the CD players are similar to the NDX800. It comes with a mixer that you can plug your iPod into. http://www.numark.com/mixdeck
- DJ in A Box and iBATTLEPACK: complete DJ solutions in one all-inclusive package. The DJ in A Box comes with two belt-driven turntables while the iBATTLEPACK comes with two direct-drive turntables. Both packages come with the new iM1 mixer which allows you to plug your iPhone/iPod into the mixer and record your sets. Both packages come with everything except the vinyl. http://www.numark.com/djbundles
- PHX USB, an updated version of the PHX headphones. The headphones come with USB and analog cables. http://www.numark.com/phxusb
- NPM5 monitors are mid-range home-based monitors with RCA inputs and a three-band EQ. http://www.numark.com/npm5
- Get new flight cases for your NS7, VS7, and Mixdeck. http://www.numark.com/cases2010

Well I guess I don’t need to blog about this as you seem to have it covered very well. thank you for posting this.
I have generally cherished buying on-line and genuinely loved when I would come across great discounts on solutions that I saw in merchants for 25% off or additional. It was generally these kinds of a rush to know how easy it was to help save cash.
Another request for this to be on Android.. they are soon to be the largest market in the US for mobile OS’s with about 100k new phones being bought every single day.
I want to buy this in 99$
