Blue is announcing a few new items, most exciting being the enCORE 100i. While the other enCORE mics are designed for mostly live vocal use, the 100i is designed to have a wider and flatter frequency response for capturing instruments of all types.

The 100i will be available next month for $89 at all authorized Blue retailers.

Also being rolled out soon is the enCORE 300. Made to be the new flagship live dynamic microphone, it looks pretty radically different from the enCORE 100/200.

The 300 will also be available next month at $199.

Last but not least, Blue is coming out with the second generation of Mikey the Mic, the portable mic for your iPhone/iPod Touch.

The major difference between the first and second generation Mikey is the THX certification that comes with the new Mikey as well as the new Blue USB desktop mic, the Yeti.

The second gen Mikey will be available in the Spring for $99.
