New Audient Trade-in Program
Premier British console manufacturer Audient has announced a green-friendly console trade-in program that their dubbing the Audient “Console Scrappage Scheme.” Trade in your older Audient console and get $2,000 off a new ASP8024 or ACS8024.
The program is aimed at Universities and other educational institutes and is designed to help them keep up with modern recording technology.
Audient will be accepting consoles until March 31, 2010. Obviously each console is subject to qualification, but you can see all further information here: www.audient.com/scrappage
What a really good idea. Perhaps we’ll see other major console manufacturers follow suit? Probably not. When’s the last time you saw or heard of someone wanting to trade in a Neve 88-series for a Genesys?
